Elite Room Lets are commited to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all of our service users. We will always endeavour to ensure that appropriate accom ovation is provided in multi-cultural and diverse areas to suit our service user needs.
- All properties, prior to occupation, must comply with relevant safety standards as set out.
- Current landlord’s gas safety certificate as well as periodic electrical installation report covering the state of the electrical wiring will be available for inspection in each property alongside Energy Performance Certificates (EPC). Properties that do not h ave valid gas, electrical or EPC certificates s hall not be used to accommodate service users, u nder any circumstances.
- Elite Support & Housing will be responsible for ensuring that the properties in which service users are placed fully comply with the above requirements prior to being occupied by any service user.
- While occupied, staff of Elite Room Lets will undertake periodic checks on the property to ensure that they contin ue to meet the requisite standards, as set o ut above.
- The provider will monitor and maintain a record of the visits to inspect the condition of accommodation – and the finding of the visits; these will be made available on request to representatives of the local authority.
- All inspections will include an examination of appliances for damage that is likely to be of a hazardous nature and likely to cause injury.
- Any necessary repairs, either identified by a member of s taff or reported by the service user, will be carried o ut fully in accordance with appropriate timescales.
